THE SIX PILLARS

CARING FOR YOURSELF
IS A WHOLE.

01

Sleep

More regular hours, a calm environment and fewer stimuli before bedtime.

02

Movement

Walking, training, dancing or stretching: every movement counts.

03

Recovery

Alternate effort and rest so your body can adapt and grow stronger.

04

Hydration

Drink regularly and increase fluids in hot weather, during training, pregnancy or breastfeeding.

05

Connection

Talking to people you trust and asking for support are also forms of self-care.

06

Calm

Breathing, pauses and boundaries can help reduce the feeling of overload.

5 MINUTES FOR YOU

TODAY’S
RESET.

Tick what feels right now. Progress does not require completing everything.

REST IS ALSO TRAINING

A ROUTINE
TO WIND DOWN.

MISS MWANGOLE in a moment of focus and balance
  1. 60 MIN BEFORE

Dim the lights and reduce notifications when possible.

  2. 30 MIN BEFORE

Avoid very heavy meals and write down worries for tomorrow.

  3. 10 MIN BEFORE

Prepare the bedroom, tomorrow’s clothes and a short hygiene routine.

  4. AT BEDTIME

Breathe naturally; do not force sleep or monitor every minute.

WHEN EVERYTHING FEELS TOO MUCH

TOOLS
FOR THE MOMENT.

Ground yourself

Notice five things you see, four you feel, three you hear, two you smell and one you taste.

Name it

Tell yourself: “I am noticing worry” or “I am feeling tension.” Naming it creates space.

Reduce

Choose only the next small, possible action instead of solving everything at once.

Connect

Share what you are feeling with someone safe. You do not have to carry everything alone.

ACTIVE RECOVERY

LOW ENERGY
IS NOT FAILURE.

Use this traffic-light guide to adjust training without abandoning your routine.

GREEN

I feel well

Follow the plan and keep a sustainable intensity.

AMBER

Tiredness or poor sleep

Reduce load, sets or duration; choose mobility or walking.

RED

Sharp pain, dizziness or illness

Stop and seek assessment when symptoms are severe, new or persistent.

SELF-CARE DOES NOT REPLACE CARE

SEEK HELP
WHEN YOU NEED IT.

Talk to a professional

If stress, sadness, anxiety, tiredness or sleep difficulties persist and affect your routine.

Seek urgent help

If you feel unable to keep yourself safe, contact local emergency services or someone you trust immediately.
